Vikrant Nirmala Singh
(Founder and President)
Mr. Vikrant, an alumnus of BHU, is the Founder and President of the Finance and Economics Think Council. He founded the Council as a student of the Faculty of Commerce, BHU, in April 2018. Currently, he is pursuing his PhD at the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela. He is a postgraduate in marketing (BHU), with a bachelor’s in commerce- financial market management (BHU), and a senior secondary student from Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Deoria. He also holds a diploma in Microfinance and Entrepreneurship from the Institute of Management Studies, BHU. In 2014, he was selected for the National Level Science Exhibition held at Noida, Uttar Pradesh, where he represented East UP. In 2015, he won the State Level Debate Competition organized by the Ministry for MSMEs, Government of India. He has also worked at the National Children’s Science Congress, Uttar Pradesh (a curriculum of the National Council for Science and Technology Communication, Department of Science and Technology, Government of India), where he presented a report on understanding weather and climate. Mr. Vikrant Singh has authored over 100+ articles for “The Economics Times Hindi” and 50+ articles for the “Newstrack”. Moreover, he also writes for ‘Dainik Jagran’s ‘Gaon Connection’. ‘Swadesh’ and ‘AAJ Daily’. He has actively participated in several youth parliaments and is an active volunteer of NSS. He has authored several research papers to his credit in SSCI, Scopus, and SCIE-indexed journals, including those ranked in the ABDC category.

Dr. Vipin Vihari Ram Tripathi
(Chief Strategic Advisor)
Dr. Tripathi is an assistant professor at Galgotia University. He has been a council member since its inception. Currently, he serves as the Chief Strategic Advisor with a prime focus on strategic planning, organisational culture, relationship management and promoting synergy across diversified stakeholders. He obtained his PhD degree from the Department of Commerce, DDU Gorakhpur University. He holds a Post Graduation in Marketing Management (BHU), PG Diploma in Human Resource Management (BHU), a Bachelor’s in Commerce & Management (University of Allahabad), and a Senior Secondary from St. Xavier’s College, Gorakhpur.
He has a keen interest in International Marketing, Behavioural Research, Strategic Business Management, Negotiation and analysing behavioural data to generate holistic marketing solutions for complex markets
Mr. Tripathi has six research publications to his credit in International Journals/ Edited Books and he actively participates in several academic events throughout India. In addition, he has authored more than 50 Opinion Editorials for The Economic Times, Newstrack.com, Aaj Daily newspaper and blogs. He is excited about new opportunities where he can apply his skills and experience to design difficult behavioural data into easily digested business processes to help the council reach higher growth.

Dr. Anand Mishra
(General Secretary)
Dr Anand Kumar Mishra is an assistant professor at the Indian Institute of Management, Rohtak. He has completed his PhD (Finance & Accounting) from the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology. His research interests include behavioural finance, financial econometrics, environmental, social, and governance (ESG) investment, the circular economy, and macroeconomic factors. He has several research papers to his credit in SSCI, Scopus, and SCIE indexed journals, including those ranked in the ABDC-A category. He has qualified for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the University Grants Commission, India, in commerce and management subjects. Prior to pursuing his PhD, he was associated with Bajaj Allianz GIC Ltd. as a senior executive for more than a year. He did his post-graduation from the faculty of commerce, Banaras Hindu University and his graduation from the University of Delhi with a specialisation in finance and accounting. He has also authored several opinion editorials for “The Economic Times.” He is of the view that financial literacy among all citizens is a pre-requisite for balanced development and social equality. Responsible production, consumption, and investment behaviour are the keys to sustainable development, and every individual should contribute towards it.

Ajatshatru Tripathi
(HR Secretary)
Mr. Ajatshatru Tripathi is a marketing and insurance industry expert. He has a keen interest in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) investments as well as HRM and risk management. He worked as a senior executive for more than 2.5 years with Bajaj Allianz GIC Ltd. and is currently employed as Unit Manager at ICICI Group. He completed his B.Com(Hons) from the Rajiv Gandhi South Campus of the Banaras Hindu University. He has done his Master’s with a concentration in human resource management and Post Graduate Diploma in Tax Management from the BHU. He is one of the founding members of FETC and has been HR SECRETARY, SINCE 2018, with responsibility for managing human resources throughout the organization. He is entrusted to carry out Recruitment Drives, Orientation programs, Training and development for the capitalization of human resources.

Ambuj Bharti
(IT Head)
Mr. Ambuj Bharti is the Chief Technical Advisor of the Council. After completion of matriculation in 2014 from ‘Sarasvati Vidya Mandir, Deoria’ and intermediate in 2016 from ‘Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Kanpur’, he has completed his under graduation in Computer Science from Delhi University.
Currently he is pursuing his Master of Computer Applications degree from National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra.
He is managing web page of the council and providing advices for council Newsletter.

Nishant Upadhyay
(Social Outreach Secretary)
Mr. Nishant Kumar Upadhyay after completion of matriculation in 2013 and intermediate in 2015 from ‘Sarasvati Vidya Mandir, Deoria’, and has completed his Under-graduation in Computer Science with Physical Science from Kirori Mal College (DU), New Delhi. He is the Media Advisor of ‘Finance and Economics Think Council’. In 2013, he was selected for the National Level Science Exhibition held at Noida, Uttar Pradesh and represented east UP. In 2015, he won the State Level Debate Competition organized by ministry of micro, small and medium enterprises, Government of India. He has also worked at the National Children Science Congress, Uttar Pradesh (a curriculum of National Council for Science and Technology Communication, Department of Science and Technology, Government of India).

Dr. Sameer Shekhar
(Research Advisor)
Dr. Sameer Shekhar, an alumni of BHU, is currently appointed as a senior assistant professor at KIIT. He has worked as a Post-Doctoral fellow in the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi. He holds a Ph.D. in International Business & Marketing (BHU), a post-graduate degree in foreign trade (BHU), and a bachelor’s degree in economics (BHU). He has more than 4 years of teaching experience and more than 5 years of academic research.
He has several research publications to his credit in the journals of national and international repute. Dr. Shekhar has presented more than 30 research papers in the national and international conferences and seminars.
With the vast experience of editing, he is member of editorial board in 1 national journal and 3 international journals.

Muskan Chaurasia is a Research Scholar at NIT Rourkela, specializing in Marketing and Consumer Behaviour. With a postgraduate degree from BHU and a bachelor's degree from MGKV, she has a strong academic foundation. Muskan's research focus lies in understanding consumer insights and market trends. As a Member and Organizing Secretary at FETC, she actively contributes to the academic community. She also actively contributes to some columns for The Economic Time and FETC Blog. Hailing from Varanasi, Muskan completed her schooling at Arya Mahila Nagarmal Murarka Model School. She achieved the distinction of qualifying for the UGC NET JRF in 2020, showcasing her commitment to academic excellence.

Swati Kumari, an alumnus of the University of Allahabad and a member of the Finance and Economic Think Council, has completed her master's degree and now aspires to pursue research and make meaningful contributions to the dynamic field of academics. She is particularly interested in exploring developmental issues affecting women and advocating for inclusive growth.
